Hello, my name is Maria and I am excited to bring Slumber Parties to you! I got my start like many, after attending a party. I had never heard of Slumber Parties before that night and had no idea what to expect when a friend of mine invited me to go with her to one. Oh what a night! We laughed, we "taste tested", we shopped! It was an awesome time.
When the Slumber Party Distributor asked me if I was interested in doing what she does I was taken aback. Could I actually do this? We had a great time; she had a great time! That doesn't often happen when you are 'at work'! The products were fun and seemed easy to sell. She told me about the money she was actually making and I had to ask myself, "why am I not doing this?"! I thought about it over the next few days and then decided to take the leap! WOW am I glad I did! So far this whole experience has been amazing! I am still getting my feet wet in sales and with Slumber Parties, but right from the start it has been an adventure.
I still work at my original job because I still have student loans that I am paying and I am still in school. But I work part-time with Slumber Parties and now have a nice cushion of 'fun money' coming in! In this financial state that our country is currently in that extra money really does relieve a load of stress off my mind.
I have never worked for a company like Slumber Parties before. I have always made many friends where ever I worked, but with Slumber Parties I feel I am making a family! I have not met a single unfriendly person. Everyone truly wants you to succeed both as a hostess and a person. I am used to companies treating their employees poorly, but with Slumber Parties I have seen nothing but praise and rewards! If something should go badly there is always someone to help and support you. I don't feel alone in this adventure because I know I have my Slumber Sisters behind me.
Thanks to Slumber Parties I am going to be graduating with my BFA and zero debt! I don't know of another fellow student that will graduate without any student loans hanging over their head. I also don't know of any one of my friends who has the kind of flexibility in their work schedule that I have. I can work as much or as little as I want! I set my own schedule! So come exam time, or if I have a large project due at school, I just work less, or not at all!
For now I am perfecting my demonstration, building my business and really learning all about myself. I am looking at the big picture. Achieving my goals and dreams one step at a time!
